Canada's mixed doubles curling pair of Kaitlyn Lawes and John Morris clinched first place after defeating South Korea 7-3 in their final round-robin match.
Earlier, the duo earned a berth in the semifinal thanks to a dominant 8-2 showing against the Russian athletes. With the round robin completed, Canada will play the winner of a tiebreaker between Norway and China. Norway handed Lawes and Morris their only loss (9-6) of the tournament. The Canadian duo beat China 10-4 in their third match.

"We've played a lot of games and have been in a lot of pressure situations if you want to call them that," Lawes told CBC's Devin Heroux. "What an opportunity. We're in a semifinal at the Olympic Winter Games."
Lawes and Morris have curled exceptionally well since the start of the tournament. Through seven games, Morris has maintained an accuracy of 82 percent, while Lawes follows closely at 76 percent.
