The job description for a stretcher-bearer is fairly straightforward: Carry injured player off the pitch.
The same applies for the requirements: Along with a partner holding the other side of the stretcher, possess the strength to carry said player off the pitch.
For the second time in six months, however, the job proved to be too difficult for a pair of stretcher-bearers. On this occasion, a duo made a meal out of an otherwise elementary task when they lost their grip on a stretcher, sending an injured footballer in Israel plummeting to the ground.
Fed up with their incompetence, the injured Maccabi Ahi Nazareth player tossed the stretcher aside and was gracefully carried off the pitch in the safety of his captain's arms.
