Watch: Fabri's howler gifts Lyon victory with 2 goals in 2 minutes
It ain't over until it's over - a fact Lyon made quite evident in its Europa League quarter-final first-leg fixture against Besiktas on Thursday, when the French outfit scored a pair of goals within two minutes to overturn a 1-0 deficit and take a 2-1 win at the Stade des Lumieres.
Corentin Tolisso canceled out an early Ryan Babel effort with his goal in the 83rd minute of play, but it was Jeremy Morel's 84th-minute goal that Besiktas goalkeeper Fabri won't soon forget. After controlling an ill-timed pass back from Atiba Hutchinson, Fabri found himself surrounded by a trio of Lyon players, Morel robbing him from behind before tapping the ball into a wide-open net.
Tolisso's effort was a little more straightforward; a failed clearance off a free kick saw the ball land kindly at his feet. The rest was simple, and Tolisso tucked away the chance to level the score.
