Parma's Serie A wait is over.
Bankruptcy forced the former Serie A club to Serie D for the 2015-16 campaign, but Parma will be back in Italy's top flight next season, having secured automatic promotion on Serie B's final matchday thanks to a 2-0 win over Spezia and Frosinone's 2-2 draw with Foggia.
Foggia's Roberto Floriano proved Parma's hero, as his 89th-minute equaliser against Frosinone allowed Parma to leapfrog Frosinone in the standings and ensure the club's third consecutive promotion.
Frosinone will now have to compete in a play-off against Palermo, Venezia, Bari, Cittadella, and Perugia to determine which Serie B side will join both Empoli and Parma in Serie A next season.
