If Juventus chief Giuseppe Marotta has his way, the Turin-based Italian champion will be reunited with Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado for the 2016-17 campaign.
Only if the Blues are willing to talk, though.
Cuadrado, 28, spent last season on loan with the Bianconeri and enjoyed his football quite a bit in Turin, making 36 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals and recording five assists.
The loan came after Cuadrado swapped Serie A for the Premier League, but he failed to impress then-manager Jose Mourinho and was shipped back to Italy on loan, with Chelsea receiving €1.5 million from Juventus.
The Colombia international could find new life at Stamford Bridge now that a new manager sits at the helm in Antonio Conte, but the familiarity of Juventus might also be a prospect that's well received.
In either case, Marotta admitted the club is actively trying to bring Cuadrado back to the club.
"Of course we would welcome Cuadrado for many reasons," Marotta told Il Corriere della Sera, as quoted by ESPN FC. "He always behaved well here and the experience we had with him was extremely positive.
"It's a question that will be resolved in the next few days at the most. He's a Chelsea player for now, but if the English club are open to talks, well we will open dialogue. We'll have to see."
