Report: West Ham submits £15M offer for AC Milan's Bacca

Looking to bolster its attack ahead of the Olympic Stadium move, West Ham has reportedly tabled a £15 million bid for AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca.

Unless Slaven Bilic's lot wants to start the 2016-17 Premier League campaign with an erratic Andy Carroll up top, it may want to pony-up a few extra quid to meet Milan's £19 million valuation of Bacca, according to Michael Kelleher of Sky Sports.

The Colombian international is the latest name among a laundry list of strikers to be linked with the east London side, with Marseille's Michy Batshuayi and Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette previously pegged for a Hammers switch.

Bacca, 30, was Milan's leading scorer this year, tallying 18 goals for the club a year after joining from Sevilla on a £21.3 million move.

It's understood that West Ham has already had bids for Lacazette and Bournemouth's Callum Wilson rejected, with co-chairman David Sullivan conceding that the club is looking to spend up to £30 million on a forward.

"We know that we need a top striker which is the hardest thing to sign. We need a 20-goal-a-season striker and that will cost us £25m or £30m. That is where the bulk of the money goes," Sullivan offered.
