Bubba Watson is no longer the Masters' leader.
Hell, he isn't even the low Watson.
The reigning Masters champion carded a 1-under 71 in his opening round Thursday at Augusta, matching 65-year-old fellow Watson, Tom, at four shots off the lead.
Bubba started strong, birdieing two of his first five holes, but was even from that point on until 18, where he sent his drive wayward and settled for a third bogey on the round.
The 71 marks his third-best opening-round score at the Masters. He shot a firs-round 69 in both of his tournament wins.
