Multiple agents representing LIV Golf players have reached out to the PGA TOUR to discuss what their clients' potential return would look like, a source told ESPN's Paolo Uggetti.
The agents' outreach comes in the wake of reports that Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund will withdraw its financial support for the league following the 2026 season.
LIV Golf announced a new business strategy Thursday, including a new board. Gene Davis took over as chairman after Yasir Al-Rumayyan's exit and aims to secure new long-term financial partners.
PGA TOUR CEO Brian Rolapp introduced a Returning Member Program in January that allowed players who departed for LIV Golf to return. The performance-based pathway was only available to golfers who won either the Players Championship or one of the four majors from 2022-25.
Brooks Koepka accepted the deal, which also came with financial penalties, while the other eligible players - Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, and Cam Smith - remained at LIV Golf.
The Returning Member Program expired Feb. 2. Patrick Reed did not renew his contract with LIV Golf and is serving a one-year ban from PGA TOUR events that ends Aug. 25.
