JT paired with Tiger, Charlie Woods for Round 1 of PNC Championship
After jokingly calling out Tiger Woods' son ahead of the PNC Championship, Justin Thomas will get an opportunity to silence the trash-talking 11-year-old as he is grouped with Tiger and Charlie for Round 1 of the PNC Championship.
Thomas and his father, Mike, will tee off with Team Woods on Saturday at 11:48 a.m. ET to begin the family affair from the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando.
When news broke that Tiger and Charlie were entering the two-person scramble event, Thomas was excited about the idea of going head to head with Charlie and even called out his younger "rival."
"For some reason, Charlie just always wants to beat me, it doesn't matter what it is," Thomas said. "Although he's never beaten me in golf or a putting contest, he still talks trash just like his dad. It will be fun. We'll have that, like, inner tournament within a tournament, trying to shut his little mouth up, but it will be fun."
According to Thomas, Charlie pushed his very private father to enter the event and put the 11-year-old's game on display for the first time.
