The NHL unveiled its All-Star Game jerseys Wednesday, and they have Nashville's unique music culture written all over them.
The jersey will be equipped with numbers and letters designed to look like a modern version of the traditional lettering on country music posters. As per tradition, the jerseys will also feature two shoulder patches - the player's home team logo, and the NHL All-Star logo.
"The 2016 Honda NHL All-Star jersey pays tribute to the city of Nashville's cultural scene, which includes the Nashville Predators," NHL chief marketing officer and executive vice president Brian Jennings said in a statement. "With creative support from Reebok's design team, the jerseys reflect the deep bond the Predators have with the music community, the city's growing passion for hockey, and the All-Star Game's showcase of the best players in the league."
The game itself will take place at Bridgestone Arena on Jan. 31.
