Bobby Farnham made an immediate impact in his debut with the New Jersey Devils.
The former Pittsburgh Penguins pugilist drew an assist on John Moore's goal to open the scoring against the New York Islanders on Saturday afternoon, then scored one of his own later in the frame after a fortuitous bounce off the boards.

It was Farnham's first NHL goal in his 15th game.
He appeared in 11 contests with the Penguins last season and three more for Pittsburgh earlier this month before being claimed off waivers by the Devils.
