The second-overall pick in this year's draft, Jack Eichel, will not be outdone by Connor McDavid.
While McDavid had two assists in his first preseason game for the Edmonton Oilers, Eichel had a goal and an assist of his own as his Buffalo Sabres defeated the Minnesota Wild 3-2.
Eichel scored a beautiful breakaway, short-handed goal that just also happened to be the game winner.
