After adding offense earlier in the week, Russia will also be sound between the pipes for the World Hockey Championship.

The Columbus Blue Jackets announced that goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky will suit up for Russia at the annual tournament.

Earlier in the week, it was announced that Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin and St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko will play for Russia.

Bobrovsky was named the top goaltender last year in leading the Russians to the championship.

Russia plays its first game Friday against Norway.
