VIDEO: Senators' Karlsson throttles Canadiens' Beaulieu with open ice hit
The Ottawa Senators were the aggressors in the first period of Game 3 of their first-round playoff series with the Montreal Canadiens, and so far it's worked out in their favor.
Although the second period's pace slowed down, Senators captain Erik Karlsson didn't, throwing a ferocious hit on the Canadiens' Nathan Beaulieu.
The Senators - who dished out 27 hits in the first period - led the game 1-0 at the time of the hit.
