Canadiens acquire Torrey Mitchell from Sabres

The Montreal Canadiens landed forward Torrey Mitchell from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for prospect Jack Nevins and a seventh-round draft pick in 2016, the team announced.
Suffice it say, the Quebec native was one happy fella:

Mitchell managed six goals and 13 points in 51 games for the lowly Sabres, who will retatin 50 percent of his salary, per TSN's Pierre LeBrun.
