Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki returned to the lineup Thursday night against the Utah Mammoth.
Suzuki missed the club's past six games due to an upper-body injury, marking the first absence of his career after he'd made 546 consecutive appearances dating back to his 2019-20 rookie campaign.
The Canadiens went 5-0-1 without Suzuki.
Suzuki had led Montreal with 12 points in nine games before being sidelined.
The 27-year-old had a career year in 2025-26, notching 101 points and winning the Selke Trophy as the NHL's top defensive forward. He added 16 points in 19 playoff games as the Canadiens reached the Eastern Conference Final.
