The Nashville Predators are signing Mavrik Bourque to a six-year deal with an annual average value of $5.5 million, reports Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Nashville recently acquired Bourque, along with defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin, in a July 1 trade from the Dallas Stars.

Bourque, 24, posted 41 points with Dallas last season, including 20 goals in 82 games.

The move lowers Nashville's cap space to just over $8.2 million, according to PuckPedia. The Predators have also reportedly signed contracts with forward Alexander Kerfoot (two years, $7M) and center Jack Drury (five years, $22.5M) this summer.
