The Winnipeg Jets have granted forward prospect Brad Lambert permission to find a trade partner, sources told NHL insider Frank Seravalli.

The Jets selected Lambert with the 30th pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, but he's yet to carve out a role as a full-time NHLer. He's managed one goal and two assists in 10 career NHL games across three seasons.

Lambert has spent most of his pro career in the AHL, where he's tallied 93 points in 141 games.

The smooth-skating Finn was once projected to be a top-five pick but fell to the Jets after having a poor season in his draft year.

Lambert, 21, has two years remaining on his entry-level contract.
