Vegas Golden Knights netminder Adin Hill needed teammates to help him off the ice after suffering an apparent injury during Monday's 4-1 win against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Hill appeared to hurt himself on a noncontact play in the first period and did not return.

He entered Monday with an .882 save percentage and a 2.86 goals-against average in four games this season.

The 29-year-old suited up for Team Canada at the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off, though he never appeared in a game, serving as backup to Jordan Binnington. Hill was also one of three goaltenders invited to Canada's Olympic orientation camp in the summer and is a candidate to represent his country at the 2026 Winter Games.

Hill won the 2023 Stanley Cup with the Golden Knights, posting a .932 save percentage in 16 postseason appearances that year. He sported a .906 save percentage last season while starting a career-high 50 games.

Backup Akira Schmid entered Monday's contest in relief of Hill, stopping 23 of 24 shots. Vegas' organizational goalie depth also includes recently signed Carter Hart, who isn't eligible to play in the NHL until Dec. 1. Hart was acquitted of sexual assault in September.
