Senators' Zub out at least 1 week with concussion
Ottawa Senators defenseman Artem Zub is expected to miss at least a week after suffering a concussion Monday against the Los Angeles Kings, head coach Travis Green announced Wednesday, per TSN's Claire Hanna.
Zub left the game after taking a hard hit from Kings forward Tanner Jeannot. Senators enforcer Zack MacEwen came to Zub's defense shortly thereafter.

Zub had been playing alongside Jake Sanderson on the team's top defense pairing to begin the season. Veteran Travis Hamonic skated in Zub's place during Wednesday's practice.

Zub recorded a career-high 25 points in 69 games last season. While not flashy offensively, he's a trustworthy shutdown defender.
Green said that goaltender Linus Ullmark, who missed Monday's game with a strain, skated Wednesday and is "progressing well."
The 2-1-0 Senators are back in action Thursday against the New Jersey Devils.
