The Anaheim Ducks will bring back the classic purple unis and hopefully the flying V* when they celebrate "Throwback Night" on October 13th against the Ottawa Senators, according to a team release.
As part of their 20th anniversary celebration, the Ducks will don retro sweaters and bring back the majority of their inaugural team from 1993-94 for a pre-game ceremony and honorary puck drop.
"Throwback night" will also feature music, graphics and video straight from the early 90's and a special "93 cent menu" where fans can buy selected food and drinks for $0.93.
Listen, I have no problem with the ducks having a retro night, but If they were really committed to going old school, they'd rock these beauties...
