The Buffalo Sabres signed forward Tyson Jost and unrestricted free-agent defensemen Erik Johnson and Connor Clifton, the team announced Saturday.
Jost's one-year pact is worth $2 million. He put up 22 points in 59 games with the Sabres this past season. Jost was a restricted free agent but became a UFA after Buffalo opted not to tender him a qualifying offer.
Buffalo claimed Jost off waivers from the Minnesota Wild in November 2022.
The 25-year-old was the 10th overall pick in 2016. He recorded 54 goals and 80 assists in 413 career NHL games.
Johnson signed a one-year pact worth $3.25 million. He spent the last 13 seasons with the Colorado Avalanche, winning the Stanley Cup in 2022.
The 35-year-old put up eight assists in 63 contests while averaging 17:15 per contest.
The Sabres locked up Clifton on a three-year, $10-million contract. He spent the most recent campaign with the Boston Bruins, chipping in with five goals and 18 assists in 78 games.
