Senators trade Wolanin to Kings for Amadio

The Ottawa Senators have traded defenseman Christian Wolanin to the Los Angeles Kings for forward Mike Amadio, the team announced Monday.
Ottawa recently placed Wolanin on waivers, but he went unclaimed. The 26-year-old was the Senators' fourth-round pick in 2015, and he's posted three assists in 15 games this season.
Amadio has appeared in 20 contests with the Kings this season, collecting two assists. The 24-year-old has registered 39 points over 168 career NHL games.
This is the second deal Los Angeles has made in as many days leading up to the April 12 trade deadline. The Kings acquired Brendan Lemieux from the New York Rangers on Sunday.
