Columbus Blue Jackets phenom Elvis Merzlikins was forced to leave Monday's game against the Ottawa Senators after Anthony Duclair skated into him in the second period.

Joonas Korpisalo replaced Merzlikins between the pipes.

Merzlikins entered Monday's contest with a .922 save percentage and a 2.37 goals-against average in 31 games. The 25-year-old rookie became the sixth goalie in the last 90 years to record five shutouts across an eight-game span earlier in February.

Korpisalo has been stellar, too, posting a .913 save percentage and a 2.49 goals-against average in 32 games entering Monday.
