Maple Leafs' Andersen continuing to thrive with heavy workload

The more shots Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Frederik Andersen receives, the better he plays - and it isn't even close.
Andersen stopped all 40 shots he faced Tuesday night in a 1-0 win over again the Florida Panthers, further improving his numbers this season when facing 40-plus pucks directed at him:
| 40+ shots | Stat | < 40 shots |
|---|---|---|
| 7-0-2 | Rec. | 23-16-2 |
| 1.89 | GA/G | 2.87 |
| .959 | SV% | .912 |
| 2 | SO | 3 |
Is it crazy to think that the Leafs might be better off if they allow their opponents to take more shots from the outside?
