Red Wings' Henrik Zetterberg: Officially day-to-day with knee injury
Zetterberg (knee) is considered day-to-day, per Red Wings coach Jeff Blashill, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.
Analysis:
Zetterberg sustained the knee injury in off-ice training and consequently had to bow out of the World Cup of Hockey. Given his status as a proven veteran, there isn't much incentive to rush Big Z back into the training camp picture. Besides, the "day-to-day" label suggests that his ailment isn't all that serious.
