Things have been heating up between the Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers since the infamous Game 5, and it finally boiled over on Sunday.
After being hit by a Matt Bush pitch, Jose Bautista unleashed a takeout slide on second baseman Rougned Odor. Odor then responded by punching Bautista in the face, which sparked a massive bench-clearing brawl between the rivals.
Bautista and Odor were ejected, as were Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson and Rangers bench coach Steve Buchele.

A second bench-clearing incident occurred at the top of the next inning when Blue Jays reliever Jesse Chavez hit Prince Fielder. No punches were thrown, and Chavez - along with the team's acting manager DeMarlo Hale - were ejected.
The trouble started when Bush hit Bautista with a pitch that was widely seen as retaliation for his bat flip in Game 5 of last year's American League Division Series. Benches were warned by home-plate umpire Dan Iassogna, but the warning did no good.
Bautista then executed the hard takeout slide on Odor two batters later, which was not taken kindly. Odor landed a vicious right square to Bautista's jaw, and the brouhaha was on.

Adrian Beltre pulled a seething Bautista away from Odor, but by that point the melee had turned into a full-scale punch fest. Blue Jays center fielder Kevin Pillar was throwing punches to defend himself in the middle of four red jerseys until Donaldson jumped in.

Once all the dust settled, the Rangers held on to earn a 7-6 victory.
