So much for the idea that Ohio State quarterback-turned-wideout Braxton Miller might beat Chris Johnson's record of 4.24 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
Miller turned in official times of 4.50 and 4.55 seconds in the event at the NFL's scouting combine Saturday.
While they aren't poor times, they aren't indicative of high-end speed.
Miller generated buzz at the Senior Bowl, with some even suggesting he could be a first-round pick, but it appears more likely he'll be a mid-rounder. He has some developing to do if he wants to become a starting NFL wideout, as he won't win with athleticism alone.
