Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis began working out Monday after undergoing forearm surgery, his wife Kelly revealed in an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio.
Kelly Davis also revealed that her husband would suit up for another season.
Davis broke his arm during the NFC Championship game, but refused to sit out Super Bowl 50.
The Panthers' All-Pro linebacker recorded seven tackles in the 24-10 loss to the Denver Broncos.
At full health, Davis is one part of the NFL's elite linebacker duo alongside Luke Kuechly. He was named a first-team All-Pro for the first time in his career, and it would be a harrowing loss for the Panthers' defense if he had retired this spring.
