The lawyer for Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy says his client has been informed he won't be charged for his alleged involvement in a brawl with off-duty police officers until Wednesday at the earliest, NFL Network's Albert Breer reports.

McCoy is expected to be arrested for his alleged role in the incident, which saw two off-duty cops beaten by a group of men over a dispute related to a bottle of champagne. Among the injuries suffered by the victims are a fractured skull and broken ribs.

Investigators reportedly sent their findings to the District Attorney's office with a recommendation McCoy be charged with aggravated assault.

McCoy's lawyer said Tuesday that his client will turn himself in if charged.
