As the Seattle Seahawks await word on Marshawn Lynch's future, the 29-year-old running back is busy preparing to open his first "Beast Mode" apparel store in Oakland.
The store is located in the Old Oakland downtown area, near where Lynch attended high school and college. He and Mayor Libby Schwan will both be on hand for the ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, which has been declared "Beast Mode" day in Oakland, Rachel Swan of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Shirts, sneakers, hats, and "other fashion items" adorned with Lynch's favorite icons will be available for purchase, with a portion of first-day sales going to his Fam 1st Family Foundation.
