Katina Smith, the mother of Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, will watch her son play in person for the first time Sunday, and had a special jersey made for the occasion.

Smith was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2000 for her role in a cocaine trafficking ring. She was released from jail last summer when President Barack Obama commuted the sentences of 46 non-violent drug offenders.
