The San Diego Chargers released defensive tackle Mitch Unrein and signed tight end Kyle Miller on Thursday, the team announced.
Unrein signed a two-year contract with the Chargers in March. The fifth-year veteran recorded one tackle in the Chargers' 24-19 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Prior to signing with the Chargers, Unrein spent the first four years of his career with the Denver Broncos.
Miller went undrafted in 2012 out of Mount Union, and previously played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, and Atlanta Falcons, but never saw the field.
