Here's a look at theScore's wide receiver value rankings for Week 3 (Thursday night game excluded):
Value Rankings
QB | RB | WR | TE
Top 5
It's lonely at the top, where Brown and Jones easily outpace the competition this week. Brown gets a slight edge by virtue of his unmatched week-to-week consistency. Landry is a terrific play against a Bills defense that has been torched for nearly 700 yards through the air; expect double-digit catches and a touchdown. Cobb is also a recommended play against the Chiefs.

Next 5
Marshall will be a great play regardless of whether teammate Eric Decker suits up - but if Decker doesn't, Marshall could be the top option in his price range. Hopkins will be a popular target in the Houston offense, and could get some relief if RB Arian Foster returns from a groin ailment. Edelman continues to be a target soaker, and will see plenty of action against Jacksonville.

| 29 | Brandin Cooks (NO) | at CAR | Medium |
| 30 | Sammy Watkins (BUF) | at MIA | Medium |
Matthews and Johnson both have difficult matchups this week; while their floors remain strong, they'll both see muted upside. Hankerson may be worth a tournament flier as a complement to the dominant Jones, while Moncrief is in a similar situation as Andrew Luck's new favorite No. 2 option. Cooks should be off the radar completely against the stingy Panthers.

Maclin is learning what countless Kansas City receivers before him already know: Chiefs wideouts don't catch touchdown passes. And that won't change this week in a tough matchup versus the Packers. Jones is in the opposition situation with Green Bay, a red-zone favorite of Aaron Rodgers and a decent bet to score on a weekly basis. Just don't count on big yardage.
