Denver Broncos linebacker Danny Trevathan has a dislocated patella tendon and will likely miss the rest of the season, Broncos head coach John Fox told the media Monday afternoon.
According to Mike Klis of The Denver Post, Trevathan will require surgery on the knee.
Trevathan left Sunday's 22-10 win over the San Diego Chargers with the injury and did not return. This is the third injury Trevathan has suffered to his left knee this season.
Trevathan missed 11 of the Broncos' first 13 games this season with left knee ailments.
