The Oakland Raiders will get 2013 first-round pick DJ Hayden back on the field on game day shortly, as the team reportedly plans to activate the cornerback from the PUP list Saturday.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport notes that Hayden will be eligible to play vs. the Cleveland Browns on Sunday if the Raiders deem him physically ready.

Hayden missed the first six weeks of the season on PUP with a foot injury. He began practicing in mid-October, triggering a 21-day period in which the Raiders had to decide to add him to the active roster or shut him down for the season.

Hayden missed the bulk of his rookie season with various injuries. With any luck, he'll put his health issues behind him and start contributing to the Raiders defense in the very near future.
