The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be without starting quarterback Josh McCown for several weeks, according to Fox Sports's Alex Marvez.

McCown suffered a thumb injury during Thursday's game against the Atlanta Falcons, a 56-14 loss.

The 35-year-old quarterback left the game with the Buccaneers already down 35-0.

Mike Glennon will start for the Buccaneers in McCown's absence.
