The Chris Kluwe Saga took another detour on Wednesday, with the former punter deciding to hold off on filing a lawsuit against the Minnesota Vikings.

According to Kluwe's lawyer, Clayton D. Halunen, the two sides have agreed to engage in further discussions before his client takes any further legal action.

“We will not be taking any action pending the completion of those discussions,” Halunen told The Star Tribune.

Kluwe, who threatened to file the suit after the Vikings refused to release the full results of their six-month investigation into the discriminatory culture that allegedly plagued the organization, was reportedly seeking more than $10 million in damages for defamation of character and lost wages due to wrongful termination.
