1994 - Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes sets fire to boyfriend Andre Rison's house
On a day that Atlanta Falcons All-Pro wideout Andre Rison would later call the worst of his life, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of the R&B group TLC sets fire to Rison's $2-million estate in an Atlanta suburb.
Rison returned to his home in the early hours of the morning, got into an argument with Lopes (she later claimed he assaulted her) and she ignited Rison's shoes in a bathtub on the home's second floor.
Rison lost nearly all his possessions in the blaze. Lopes also inflicted damage on three of Rison's most expensive cars.
Lopes called the fire an accident, but she was charged with arson and sentenced to five years of probation.
