The San Francisco 49ers added some speed and leaping ability to their wide receiving corps with their first of two scheduled picks in the fourth round, selecting former South Carolina wide receiver Bruce Ellington 106th overall.

Ellington is highly athletic and has good hands. He's effective over the middle, so the 49ers could opt to use him as a slot receiver.

The 49ers acquired the pick by trading their third-round pick to the Cleveland Browns. In addition to No. 106, the 49ers received the pick No. 108 from the Browns in the deal.
