New York Giants pass-rusher Abdul Carter reacted negatively to a video of his quarterback, Jaxson Dart, introducing President Donald Trump at a campaign rally in New York on Friday.
"Thought this sh!t was AI, what we doing man," Carter posted Saturday on X.

Dart, the Giants' second-year starter, began addressing the crowd with a "Go Big Blue" chant. The 23-year-old then said it was an "honor" and a "privilege" to be at the rally before welcoming Trump to the stage.

Trump thanked Dart to open his speech, calling him a future Hall of Famer with "a lot of talent."
Carter later clarified that he doesn't have any animosity toward the quarterback after they discussed his appearance at the event.
"Me & JD6 are good! We spoke earlier as men," Carter posted on X. "Y'all can keep y'all narratives."
Carter and Dart were both selected in the first round of the 2025 draft. Carter suited up in 17 games last season, posting 43 tackles, 23 quarterback hits, and four sacks. His 66 pressures were the most among rookies league-wide, according to TruMedia.
Dart, who started 12 games, sat behind Russell Wilson for three contests before taking the reins. The Ole Miss product threw for 2,272 yards and 15 touchdowns while adding 487 yards and nine scores on the ground. Dart's 91.7 passer rating led all rookie quarterbacks.
New York is entering its first season under new head coach John Harbaugh, whom the team hired in January to replace Brian Daboll. The Giants' mandatory minicamp begins June 8.
