New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo insists there's nothing to worry about after a video of him failing to land a backflip went viral on Saturday.

"I'm going to address the elephant (in the room)," Skattebo said, per Yahoo Sports. "I will not hurt myself before the season. ... Nothing came out from that. I'm perfectly fine. Nothing happened, we're good."
Skattebo's 2025 rookie season ended in Week 8 after he suffered a tibia fracture and ankle dislocation. He appeared to show off the scar before attempting his backflip.
"What happened was, I don't know if you guys know the WWE or not," Skattebo said. "Those floors are bouncy, so when I took off, I was mid-air like, 'Holy cow, I'm not going to land this, I'm way too high.'"
Skattebo's aggressive style of play and attitude have previously drawn criticism, but the Arizona State product said he doesn't plan on changing his approach.
"I'm just going to keep being me, and if they want to say I'm brain dead, and I don't have no brain, then who cares, f--- it," he said, per ESPN.
