Maxx Crosby thought he'd end his career with the Las Vegas Raiders, but he has no bad blood with the organization following his trade to the Baltimore Ravens.

"Everything that was involved with coming to this conclusion, it was a whirlwind, man," Crosby said in a video posted Saturday on X. "I never thought I'd be in this position. I never thought I'd be going anywhere else, truly."

He added, "I have zero ill will toward that organization in any way."

Las Vegas agreed to deal Crosby to Baltimore for two first-round picks Friday, ending months of speculation about the pass-rusher's future. The saga began in December, when Crosby reportedly became upset about being shut down with two games left due to a knee injury.

The Raiders drafted Crosby in the fourth round of the 2019 draft, and he soon blossomed into one of the league's premier edge rushers. Team success didn't follow, though, as the franchise made only one playoff appearance with Crosby, who personally expressed remorse over the lack of results.

"I feel like I left everything I had on the table for this team," Crosby explained. "I've given my heart and soul, and I feel like I let y'all down, man. Ever since Day 1, I've wanted to create and build a winner with the Raiders.”

The five-time Pro Bowler thanked Raiders owner Mark Davis, his former head coach Jon Gruden, and the club's former general manager Mike Mayock. He also shared his appreciation for the fan base while recognizing that some people might be frustrated by his exit.

"I understand people have their opinions and people are going to be upset, and you guys have every right to be upset," Crosby said. "I totally understand that. It's because you guys have passion for the game and love this team and organization and want to have a winner, just like myself. ... I did everything in my power to try to bring a winner to this organization."

His arrival is expected to help the Ravens solidify a pass-rush unit that struggled to get after the quarterback last season, as the team finished with only 30 sacks.

"I'm gonna give everything in my heart and soul to bring a championship to Baltimore," Crosby said.
