Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase had an injury scare during Tuesday's practice.

Chase went down with an apparent knee injury after landing awkwardly while trying to make a catch at training camp. He limped off the field in visible pain.

Chase said after practice that he hyperextended his left knee but is doing OK.

"Just a little hyperextension, but other than that, I'm fine," Chase told 1530 ESPN.

The star wideout added that he could've stayed on the field, but the Bengals kept him on the sideline. He said he could play tomorrow if he had to, according to Jeremy Rauch of FOX19.

Chase has taken the NFL by storm since Cincinnati drafted him fifth overall in 2021. The former Offensive Rookie of the Year has earned five Pro Bowl berths in as many seasons and has claimed two first-team All-Pro selections in the past two campaigns.

The 26-year-old hasn't missed a game due to injury in the last two seasons. The Bengals kick off their regular season on Sept. 13 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
