Daboll takes Titans' offensive coordinator job
The Tennessee Titans hired former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll as their offensive coordinator, the team announced Tuesday.
Daboll was reportedly waiting on the Raiders before committing to the Titans. He completed two interviews with the Raiders. He now joins a Titans staff led by new head coach Robert Saleh.
Daboll posted a 20-40-1 record with only one playoff appearance as head coach of the Giants from 2022-25. However, he has a track record of aiding quarterback development. He served as Josh Allen's offensive coordinator from the quarterback's rookie season through 2021. He was also in charge of the Giants when Daniel Jones had one of his best seasons in 2022.
Daboll is now poised to work with 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward. The Titans quarterback had a productive rookie year, throwing for 3,169 yards, 15 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. Ward added two scores with his legs.
