Bills signing Moore after not prioritizing WR in draft
The Buffalo Bills are signing wide receiver Elijah Moore to a one-year contract worth up to $5 million, sources told Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz.
Moore confirmed it on social media Wednesday.
"Back in that red and blue," Moore wrote on X. "Time to go be great. Grateful for the opportunity. Can't wait to meet Bills Mafia."
The move comes days after the 2025 NFL Draft, where Buffalo mainly focused on its defense and didn't draft a wideout until the seventh round with Kaden Prather. The Bills also took tight end Jackson Hawes in Round 5.
Moore spent the past two seasons with the Cleveland Browns. He set a career high with 640 receiving yards in 2023 before catching 61 passes in '24, a new personal best.
The 2021 second-round pick played his first two NFL campaigns for the New York Jets and is only 25. The Ole Miss product has racked up 200 career receptions for 2,162 yards and nine touchdowns in 61 appearances.
The Bills have tried to bolster their wide receiver depth chart this offseason. They signed Joshua Palmer earlier this year, adding him to a group headlined by Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Curtis Samuel. Mack Hollins, who led the team with five touchdown catches in 2024, joined the New England Patriots in March.
