Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers is day-to-day after suffering a quad contusion at training camp, head coach Jesse Minter announced Saturday.
"You hope for the best. There's stuff that happens sometimes," Minter said, according to Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Banner. " ... Luckily, I think he'll be OK."
Flowers collided with safety Jaylinn Hawkins during a seven-on-seven drill and fell to the ground, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN. Trainers and players reportedly checked on Flowers, who managed to walk off the field on his own.
The 25-year-old signed a four-year, $140-million contract extension Tuesday.
Flowers has topped 1,000 yards in each of the past two seasons en route to earning a pair of Pro Bowl berths. He's scored 16 touchdowns since entering the NFL as a first-round pick in 2023.
