New York Giants left tackle Andrew Thomas underwent surgery Wednesday to repair a Lisfranc injury on his injured foot, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Thomas - who met with foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson in Charlotte Tuesday - is reportedly expected to miss the remainder of the season.

He hurt his foot in Sunday night's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Thomas has collected 60 starts across his five seasons in New York, dating back to his rookie campaign.

Joshua Ezeudu or former top-10 pick Evan Neal could replace him in the lineup.

The Giants' 2024 season has gotten off to a rocky start. The club is sitting in the basement of the NFC East with a 2-4 record.
