Brandon Aiyuk believes a good luck charm helped him make the miraculous 51-yard catch that spurred a comeback for the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.

The 49ers were trailing the Detroit Lions 24-10 in the third quarter when quarterback Brock Purdy threw a deep ball that bounced off cornerback Kindle Vildor's facemask into Aiyuk's hands.

When asked about the improbable catch by Fox Sports' Erin Andrews after the game, Aiyuk credited a ladybug that visited him earlier in the day.

Aiyuk finished with three catches for 68 yards and a touchdown as the 49ers defeated the Lions 34-31 to set up a Super Bowl rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs.
