New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara is questionable for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after sitting out Friday's practice with an illness.
Losing Kamara would represent a significant blow to the 7-8 Saints, who need to win to keep their playoff hopes alive and stop the 8-7 Buccaneers from clinching the NFC South title for the third straight season.
Kamara leads New Orleans with 649 yards and five touchdowns on the ground in 12 games while adding 462 yards as a receiver. He missed the first three games of the season while serving a suspension for his role in a fight outside a Las Vegas nightclub in 2022.
If the five-time Pro Bowler can't play, veteran Jamaal Williams will lead the Saints' backfield.
